The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the world's leading standard for the processing of textiles made from organically produced natural fibers and guarantees:

From the cultivation of cotton to the processing of wool, the use of chemicals that are harmful to the environment and health is avoided. - Social standards :
Fair working conditions are mandatory throughout the entire supply chain. - Transparency :
Every step - from the fiber to the finished product - is traceable.
Only products that meet these strict requirements are permitted to bear the GOTS seal. Outdoor clothing from LangerChen: Cotton and wool as important materials
- Organic cotton :
Breathable, durable, and comfortable against the skin. GOTS certification ensures that the cotton was grown without toxic pesticides or genetically modified seeds. - Organic wool :
Animal welfare is our top priority. Warm, temperature-regulating, and naturally biodegradable. Here, too, a certifier checks GOTS standards throughout the entire processing process—from fiber to processing and dyeing to the finished, sewn style.
The result is high-quality fabrics that are functional, durable and environmentally friendly.
GOTS & LangerChen: Our production - our responsibility
Our jackets and coats are manufactured in our factory, founded in 2009. This means that LangerChen controls the entire value chain. All steps in our textile production – from the fiber to the finished garment – are transparently traceable. This year, our facility in China and our location in Starnberg were again certified with the GOTS seal. This award confirms that we consistently adhere to our way of working: producing fair, sustainable, and high-quality outdoor jackets and coats that have been responsibly manufactured.
