Repair service for your LangerChen jacket

We want your LangerChen jacket to accompany you for as many years as possible. Should a zipper break, a seam come undone, or another defect occur, we will support you with our repair service.

Together with an experienced specialist company, we individually review each request and organize the repair for you. This extends the lifespan of your jacket and helps conserve resources.

A repair is often the most sustainable solution. That's why we want to offer our customers an uncomplicated way to continue wearing their favorite pieces instead of replacing them.

Each repair request is individually reviewed. You will receive an initial assessment and a non-binding cost estimate after your jacket has been received. Only when you agree will we start the repair.

 

Step 1

Send repair request

Fill out our repair form and describe the damage as precisely as possible. This allows us to check in advance whether and how a repair is possible.

Please send us the following photos by email if possible:

  • a photo of the entire jacket
  • a close-up of the damage
  • photo of the care label with the article number
  • optional: additional photos from different perspectives

Step 2

Send in jacket

Important: Please only send your jacket after you have received a confirmation from us.

After our initial assessment, you will receive a confirmation for submission. Send your cleaned jacket to our service team at your own expense.

Please enclose your repair request and mark the area to be repaired with a sticker/Post-it.

Caution: Please do not use pins/safety pins as they can damage the fabric.

 

Step 3

Inspection & cost estimate

Upon receipt, we will carefully inspect the jacket and coordinate the repair with our specialist workshop. Afterwards, you will receive a non-binding cost estimate with information on the scope of repair, costs, and processing time.

 

Step 4

Repair & return shipping

After we have received your payment, your jacket will be professionally repaired.

Once the work is completed, we will send the product back to you. We will cover the costs for return shipping.

If a repair is not possible, we will inform you in advance and return the jacket to you at our expense.

What does a repair cost?
The costs depend on the respective damage. After inspecting your jacket, you will receive an individual and non-binding cost estimate.
Who bears the shipping costs?
The shipping of your jacket to LangerChen is at your expense. We cover the costs for return shipping.

Depending on the scope of work, the processing time is usually approx. 4 weeks after your approval.
When should I send in my jacket?
Please only send your jacket after you have received a confirmation from us. This way we avoid unnecessary shipments and can check your request in advance.
Does the jacket have to be cleaned?
Yes, please only send your jacket in a cleaned state. This way it can be carefully inspected and professionally processed.
What happens if I don't accept the cost estimate?
If you do not wish to accept the cost estimate, we will not carry out a repair. We will inform you about the next steps and send your jacket back to you.
Can every jacket be repaired?
We review each request individually. In many cases, minor and medium damage can be successfully repaired. If a repair is not possible, we will inform you in advance.
What kind of damage can be repaired?

Typical repairs include, for example:

Can I specify multiple damages in one request?
Yes, you can describe multiple damages in one request. Please upload a clear photo for each affected area if possible.
Can I also send in a jacket that is not from LangerChen?
Our repair service is intended for LangerChen jackets. Unfortunately, we cannot offer repairs for products from other brands.
