The outdoor label "LangerChen" is an owner-managed company. The associated factory in Shanghai, China, was established as a joint venture between Philipp Langer and Miranda Chen in 2013.

Philipp and Miranda founded LangerChen based on over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry. The result is a jacket label that is not only functional and ethically fair, but also manufactured in-house with the utmost care.

Our Production Team

All jackets & coats are manufactured in our in-house facility. As a GOTS/GRS-certified company, we stand for textile production that adheres to the requirements of these standards. We value fair and transparent working conditions and reject exploitation in our production.

Fair Fashion

Every jacket and coat is manufactured under fair working conditions, with fair wages and safe workplaces. Environmental sustainability and social responsibility are at the heart of our work.

SUSTAINABILITY – We are committed to using our planet's resources with care and leaving the smallest possible ecological footprint. When choosing our materials, we focus on organic cotton, eco-wool, Tencel, organic linen, and recycled polyester.

FAIRNESS – We want to show that the fashion industry can also be fair. We manufacture in our own factory in China, know each of our employees personally, and pay fair wages. Our Jiecco production facility ensures good working conditions, provides all employees with eco-friendly training, and organizes daily commutes for our employees. We are a very family-oriented company with many long-standing employees.
