How to measure correctly

To determine your jacket size, you need three body measurements:

• Chest : Measure horizontally at the fullest part of your chest, under your armpits, around your back.
• Waist : This is measured at the narrowest part of your torso - usually just above your belly button.
• Hips : Measure around the widest part of your buttocks. Make sure the tape measure is straight.

In addition to these standard measurements, two other measurements are important for parkas:

• Shoulder width : Measure from the outer left to the outer right shoulder edge. This measurement indicates how wide the back of your parka should be. A shoulder area that's too narrow can restrict mobility.
• Sleeve length : Starting at the highest point of your shoulder, measure the length across the outside of your arm to your wrist. Make sure to bend your arm slightly—this will give you the most suitable length for everyday wear.
