Unfortunately, fashion and fairness do not always go hand in hand. As a fair fashion label we want to set a good example in the fashion industry and show that beautiful and high-quality clothing can be combined with fair working conditions and fair wages.
Employee compensation
Our employees lead a lifestyle similar to the West in that work and personal life receive equal attention. Working days are usually from Monday to Friday. Working hours are regulated by law to 40 hours per week.
Fair payment is very important to us. All models from the LangerChen collections are manufactured in our own factory near Shanghai. Almost 90 employees with long-term contracts take care of the production of jackets and coats there. The wage level is far above the legal minimum wage, because China is no longer a low-wage country.
Our working conditions
Our employees work under good and safe working conditions. They receive wages from which they can make a good living, as well as health and pension insurance. Our team works with the latest technologies of the fashion industry. This ensures personal progress. The employees are regularly trained and thus deepen their knowledge of ecological production. Additional services that we offer our employees are a communal lunch that is freshly prepared every day and a company bus for the daily drive to work.
