Behind the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is a clearly defined, transparent and comprehensive set of criteria.

It defines environmental requirements along the entire textile production chain as well as social criteria in the participating companies. Quality assurance is carried out through independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.

The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is an international, voluntary standard.

It verifies the presence and amount of organic material in a final product. In addition, OCS tracks the flow of a raw material from its source to the final product. This process is certified by an accredited third party.

The OCS 100
is used for non-food products that contain 95% or more organic material.

The OCS BLENDED applies to all non-food products, containing at least 5% organic material mixed with conventional or synthetic raw materials.

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international, voluntary standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled input and chain of custody. The goal of the
standards is to increase the use of recycled materials. The GRS includes additional criteria for social and environmental processing requirements and chemical restrictions.
